The second release of September sets the tone to what we can expect in future releases that will culminate with the Christmas release at the beginning do December.
This is a very large release with well over 130 wines, spirits, liqueurs, and only one sake.
The main feature is Ontario with a sizeable selection of Ribera del Duero region in Spain.
There are more red wines than usual and which are worth buying and cellaring, but I listed nine due to space restrictions.
Corryvrecken Islay Single Malt Scotch, Ardbeg, Scotland
Peat, and hints of caramel greet the nose. This is a pale, fine Islay whisky that stands out with its power and length in finish.
Williams Feiner Birnenbrand, J Hoermann, Germany
Distinct pear aromas waft out of the glass. Peppery, complex and spicy flavour. Long finish.
Enjoy well chilled in a snifter, after an extended meal.

This distillery is famous for its distinct vapour distillation technique. Merlot skins were sued exclusively to produce this flavourful and smooth grappa.

Highly aromatic Seville orange aromas. In the mouth, this smooth and “warm” brandy displays spice and biscuit flavours. Excellent finish.
Quinta dos Malvedos Vintage Port 2004, Graham, Douro, Portugal
Jet black colour. A still youthful wine that can be cellared fro at least another decade, or4 longer. Everything a vintage port should offer is there – fruit, balance, power, mouth feel and finish.
