Professor B’s June 13 Vintages Release Recommendations

Vintages Release Recommendations

Ontario’s wine enthusiasts seem to be willing to experiment with a range of aromas, flavours and textures.

This 120 plus release offers several sparkling wines from France, Spain, Ontario, Italy, and Australia, several white wines from Italy, and many roses.
There is also a relatively large selection of Scotch whiskies.

My recommendations are:

Spirit

Perpetuum Islay Single Malt, Ardbeg, Scotland
This distillery’s smoky and heavily peated whiskies are legendary. Perpetuum is relatively pale in colour. Smoky and peaty on the palate, with a fine, and smooth mouth feel.
An excellent and refined whisky.
